NESSIE has hosted a series of Roundtables on the needs of comparative research in Europe. In these, representatives of the leading social science institutes and research communities - researchers, data collectors and disseminators, policy makers and data users - met together to discuss the major issues in comparative European social science research, to identify tasks that will make access to large data collections in the social sciences easier and to make recommendations to improve their comparability across Europe.
